El exalcalde del municipio Sucre, Carlos Ocariz, insistió en que los factores de la oposición deben organizar un mecanismo conjunto para escoger a los candidatos de cara a las elecciones del 21 de noviembre.
Ocariz señaló que «sería un error» esperar a que se garanticen todas las condiciones electorales, para luego realizar la organización de sus fuerzas.
«Tenemos que ir ya al proceso de escoger candidatos únicos, en todos los cargos de elección popular», dijo el dirigente de Primero Justicia, quien además; explicó que esto permitirá que los nombres que aparezcan en la lista «sean producto de la votación de la gente y no a dedo de los políticos».
A juicio de Ocariz, la oposición «perfectamente» podría ir un proceso de primarias.
Si bien reconoció que «hay señales positivas» en las condiciones del voto, advirtió que aún no son suficientes. «Es fundamental una observación internacional de peso y condiciones que permitan votar y elegir», señaló.
El exalcalde reconoció que tiene la intención de postular su nombre como candidato para la gobernación del estado Miranda, pero advirtió que la palabra final debe ser tomada en unidad.
«Todos debemos acatar lo que se decida en unidad. Es una decisión colectiva, que también pasa porque la gente decida participar, luchar y acompañarnos», concluyó.
