El presidente de la República, Nicolás Maduro, informó este domingo 11 de julio que durante el despliegue policial de la Cota 905, en Caracas, decomisaron armamento oficial del ejército colombiano en la zona.
“Se ha incautado armamento oficial del ejército colombiano en la zona. Hay tres paramilitares capturados y en declaraciones afirman que hay más de 20 paramilitares involucrados quienes tenían objetivos muy claros”, indicó el mandatario nacional.
Maduro aseguró que los detenidos están declarando y señalaron haber recibido entrenamiento de paramilitares colombianos en la Cota 905.
“Tenemos pruebas de que grupos irregulares, que operaban en la Cota 905, estaban articulados con dirigentes de extrema derecha”, afirmó.
Ratificó la denuncia de Delcy Rodríguez, vicepresidente de la República, que acusó Leopoldo López de coordinar estas organizaciones criminales desde España.
“Leopoldo López está involucrado de manera directa en conducción de estas bandas delincuenciales, toda esta información debe ser traslada a España porque desde allá se está planificando este ataque terrorista”, indicó.
Añadió que instruyó Jorge Arreaza, canciller de la República, a entregar las pruebas recopiladas al Reino de España.
Entre las armas incautadas había un RPG-7, lanza cohete multipropósito portátil, lanza cohete antitanque AT-4, se logró la incautación de dos mil cartuchos .50, cuatro mil cartuchos calibres 7.62, 14 cargadores tipo FAL y un lanza cohete calibre 84 milímetros.
La Operación Gran Cacique Indio Guaicaipuro contó participación de tres mil 110 funcionarios de seguridad.
