Netflix enfrenta un nuevo escándalo por la serie de Luis Miguel

Uno de los más recientes involucra a los hijos de Alex McCluskey, el exrepresentante del Sol de México.

Matías McCluskey pasó por la televisión mexicana en los últimos días y habló de la caracterización de su padre en la ficción. “Era un caballero en el vestir, el ser, el hablar. No nos dejaba decir ‘boludo’, ni jamás lo hubiera dicho. Tampoco fumaba, ni tomaba; nada de eso”, dijo el joven en Ventaneando (TV Azteca). “No era prepotente ni mafioso, jamás le hubiera dicho a nadie: ‘Me voy a asegurar de que no trabajes nunca más en esta compañía’. Ese no era papá. No era un tipo ruin, ni capaz de amenazar a nadie”, agregó.

Antes, Constanza McCluskey, hija de Alex y hermana de Matías, había confirmado que presentarán un recurso legal para limpiar la memoria de su papá. “No nos preguntaron si estábamos de acuerdo en el uso del nombre, de la imagen y todo lo que implica el recuerdo de mi padre”, expresó. “Para la segunda temporada mis hermanos reaccionaron y quedamos en que íbamos a tomar alguna medida”.

Además, la hija del exmanager de Luis Miguel reveló que la familia ya estuvo “hablando con varios abogados” de México, Argentina y Estados Unidos. “La decisión fue primeramente enviar una notificación al distribuidor de la serie, ahí expresamos que no estamos de acuerdo en la caracterización de mi padre ni en el uso de su nombre, su buena imagen y su fama”, indicó.

Constanza señaló que lo que se reclama es “una disculpa por parte del distribuidor, una disculpa pública” y retirar las imágenes que representan a su padre a lo largo de la serie. “Otra cosa que solicitamos es que se suspenda de forma inmediata, de todas sus plataformas de streaming, la reproducción de cualquier escena en la que aparezca el personaje de Alex McCluskey”, cerró.
