El vicepresidente Sectorial de Comunicación, Cultura y Turismo, Freddy Ñáñez, denunció este miércoles 21 de febrero la reedición de una campaña mediática en contra de Venezuela que afecta directamente a la población migrante del país.
En este sentido, detalló que en redes sociales circulan post pagados y un enjambre de bots e influencers de derecha, reseñó El Universal.
A su vez, indicó que estas acciones tienen como fin «inocular una peligrosa matriz de opinión que vincula falazmente a los venezolanos con bandas armadas que operan en EEUU».
Por tanto, advirtió que este movimiento en redes ocasionará una nueva ola de xenofobia.
En un hilo en la red social, sostuvo que las sanciones son la principal causa de migración en el país y aseguró que «conocemos bien los rostros y los apellidos de quienes las solicitaron en su momento y quienes las siguen defendiendo a pesar del daño que hacen».
Puntualizó que la migración venezolana hace parte de un fenómeno doble, lo que quiere decir que, en primer lugar fue inducida por la guerra económica y en segundo lugar que es la «única población migrante que retorna a su país de origen».
Sin embargo, recalcó, ni el Gobierno de EEUU ni la oposición «han hecho nada para aliviar las sanciones y permitir las condiciones de una repatriación masiva. El uso propagandístico de la migración venezolana tiene un objetivo muy claro: justificar cualquier agresión contra nuestro país».
