El alcalde de Jesús Enrique Lossada, Junior Mujica, señaló que la Alcaldía “hará todo el esfuerzo” por culminar el proyecto de gasificación del eje Las Amalias-El Curarire, que beneficiará a unas 4.600 familias y que se vio afectado por problemas presupuestarios.
Mujica explicó que en el proyecto, de 7,5 kilómetros, se usó una tubería de acero al carbón de 6 pulgadas que se encontraba en desuso y fue recuperada por la Alcaldía y la comunidad para esta obra que beneficiará a 23 consejos comunales, tanto de la parroquia La Concepción como de la parroquia San Isidro de Maracaibo.
Informó el Alcalde que la tubería de acero se está usando como madre, mientras que para los ramales se requiere otro tipo de tubería de alta resistencia para llevar el gas casa a casa, razón por la que estableció una alianza estratégica con la empresa Revinca, a través de su gerente de operaciones Javier Mosquera, con quien se firmó un convenio para convertir una tubería de polietileno de alta densidad en desuso, que sobró del Proyecto Acueducto San José, construido por Mujica en 2018, y transformarla en mangueras de 2 pulgadas, 5/8 y ½ pulgada para los ramales.
Esta tubería en desuso se encontraba en el bulevar Francia, frente a Servicios Públicos, justo donde culmina el acueducto y era trasladada en dos gandolas hacia la empresa Revinca, en la Zona Industrial, para ser transformada en mangueras para el proyecto de gas.
Sin embargo, las gandolas fueron retenidas el día martes en horas de la mañana por el Comando de la Guardia Nacional de Los Dulces. El caso fue pasado a la Fiscalía por los funcionarios.
“Empezamos con este proyecto con la asesoría técnica de Pdvsa Gas, y la ayuda del Gobernador porque también pudieran beneficiarse unas 4 mil familias de Maracaibo que padecen este problema. En vista de que ya tenemos la tubería madre necesitamos hacer los ramales, lo que representa una inversión bastante grande. Nosotros teníamos una tubería que quedó del proyecto San José, 38 tubos que estaban ya fusionados, y le planteamos a Revinca una alianza para transformar esta tubería de alta resistencia. Yo tengo el convenio y ahí están las firmas, la mía y la del jefe de operaciones”, detalló el Alcalde.
Agregó que lo que se busca son mangueras de alta resistencia para gas y así poder hacer la distribución a los hogares. “donde haya una calle se usa esa manguera, ½ pulgada y 5/8 para culminar el proyecto. Hemos avanzado, lo que nos falta para llegar al Abasto Los González son unos 250 metros, y por eso hicimos el convenio”.
“Eso no es una tubería que iba hurtada. De una forma ligera lo pasaron a la Fiscalía y lo estamos atendiendo con la Síndico del municipio. Le doy gracias a la Fiscalía que nos ha atendido amablemente y ha entendido que nosotros tenemos la razón, y vamos a demostrar la legalidad de esta transformación. No caigamos en confusión”, añadió.
Denunció que han tratado de parar otros proyectos, entre los que nombró “Independencia”.
El Alcalde exhortó a aquellos que estén aspirando a conducir las riendas de este municipio a que deben más bien apoyar la culminación de esta obra que “no es de una persona, es de un pueblo y de esta Alcaldía”.
