El avión de turismo Piper se estrelló cerca de la estación de San Donato de la línea 3 del metro de Milán a las 13.09 hora local (11.09 GMT) y el piloto, el copiloto y los seis pasajeros, entre ellos un niño, murieron en el acto, reseñó EFE.
Se están investigando los motivos por lo que el avión que acababa de despegar del aeropuerto milanés de Linate y se dirigía a Olbia, en la isla de Cerdeña, se precipitó sobre edificio pocos minutos después del despegue.
La edificación de dos pisos estaba vacío y se usaba como aparcamiento para coches y además se encontraba en restructuración por lo que no había nadie dentro, confirmó el alcalde de San Donato, Andrea Cecchi, al canal «Skytg24».
