Fuentes extraoficiales indicaron a El Periodiquito que la madre del menor había salido horas antes para visitar a unas amigas y dejó prendido un mechero, no obstante, otra versión indica que un corto circuito causó el incendio, según publica Cactus24.
Vecinos, bomberos y funcionarios de la Policía de Aragua lograron controlar las llamas, evitando que se propagaran hacia viviendas cercanas.
