Min-Comercio y empresas privadas evalúan precios de oxígeno medicinal

Este jueves, un equipo del ministerio de Comercio liderado por la ministra Eneida Laya, estableció mesas de trabajos con empresas privadas y distribuidoras de gas y oxígeno medicinal, para acordar precios justos de estos rubros esenciales en el tratamiento de los pacientes con covid-19.

La información fue compartida por la titular de la cartera de comercio en su cuenta Twitter @EneidaLayaPsuv “Desarrollamos mesa de concertación con las empresas privadas distribuidoras de gas y oxígeno medicinal, para evaluar los precios en estos importantes insumos que son requeridos por los pacientes con COVID-19”, reza el post de la red social Twitter.

El pasado mes de marzo, el organismo presidido por Laya también se reunió con las aseguradoras para regular los costos de los servicios de salud en medio de la pandemia, después de recibir denuncias de usuarios con quejas sobre las distorsiones en los precios de atención en las clínicas.

En esa oportunidad se exhortó a las clínicas a cumplir con los baremos de la contabilidad, evaluación y análisis de costos de los cuidados médicos de salud en pacientes con la covid-19.

«Presentamos un Baremo creado para proteger las pólizas de seguros de los pacientes, que sirva de guía y se eviten distorsiones», informó la ministra.
