El empresario venezolano Miguel Ángel González Ocque, sacando adelante diferentes proyectos en el ámbito mundial, se convirtió en ejemplo de cómo emprender de manera exitosa. Uno de los emprendedores detrás de la creación de marcas de renombre como PowerFul y Agua en Caja Mejor contó a SuNoticiero las herramientas básicas para iniciar un negocio propio.
A su juicio, inicialmente lo más importante es creer en la idea base. «Cualquier persona que quiera salir adelante con un proyecto tiene que tener una idea que debe saber vender y para venderla primero tiene que creer en ella (…) Si tú no crees en tu idea y dices es que no sé puede ser, puede que funcione… Así nunca vas a lograr la meta. Tienes que estudiarla, creerla y salir a venderla para poder levantar fondos y tratar de que sea un éxito», sentenció.
«En un negocio tienes que creer en tu sentimiento interno, si no crees ya estás derrotado de una vez. Hay que creer en lo que uno siente. Como hay negocios buenos, hay malos (…) Si se perdió se perdió, pero vamos para adelante con los otros. Lo único que te mantiene adelante en esto es tener hambre de ser exitoso y triunfar con las ideas que tú tienes», agregó.
Actualmente, Miguel Ángel es asesor financiero de una prestigiosa cartera de inversionistas y se desempeña en el sector de bienes raíces en Estados Unidos.
Para el venezolano, el lado «malo» de emprender se basa en considerar que no hay ingresos fijos y todo depende del funcionamiento de la idea. «En mi caso, como ya había trabajado antes tenía plata mía para empezar a hacer inversiones sobre las ideas que me venían». Además, aclaró que no todo es «fácil» cuando se inicia y muchas veces rendirse será una opción. Aunque, haciendo una comparación con exitosos empresarios a nivel mundial como el creador de Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, dijo: «Te apuesto hasta que él mismo en algún momento lo pensó, pero el que persevera vence».
Sin embargo, sostuvo que «la parte buena de todo esto es la satisfacción que uno siente al saber que puedes depender económicamente de una idea que tienes y al mismo tiempo ir creciendo», indicó.
Ímpetu de emprendedor
En 2014, el empresario fundó PowerFul, una línea de alimentos saludables que se estableció como líder en los principales supermercados y tiendas especializadas en Estados Unidos, Irlanda y diferentes partes del mundo incentivando a llevar un estilo de vida activo.
«PowerFul es una de las mejores historias de emprendimiento que he tenido», dijo al respecto de la marca que surgió —según detalló— en conjunto con dos socios más, incluyendo al creador principal Carlos Ramírez. «Entre los tres creímos en la idea, entre los dos la expusimos a los inversionistas buscando cierta cantidad de dinero para comenzar y en dos semanas lo habíamos logrado. Fue impresionante», contó.
Asimismo, en España formó parte del grupo de emprendedores que crearon el producto ecológico Agua en Caja Mejor, líder en su área en Europa. «Siempre tuve la idea de invertir en algún negocio relacionado con el agua», dijo para luego explicar que todo inició al unirse a otro venezolano, Armando Vaquero, quién hizo el planteamiento inicial y ya tenía la marca registrada.
«Así fue que se creó y ha sido un éxito excepcional en Europa, específicamente en España y en Portugal ya también está registrada», señaló.
