El presidente del Instituto Nacional de Aeronáutica Civil (INAC), Juan Manuel Teixeira, informó este viernes que en las últimas semanas flexibles la movilización de pasajeros de un estado a otro, vía aérea ha aumentado 109 por ciento.
Precisó que en las últimas semanas flexibles han movilizado a 59 mil 130 pasajeros en mil 208 vuelos a nivel nacional. “El factor de ocupación de esos vuelos está muy bueno”.
“El balance es positivo. La tendencia es a ir aumentando las frecuencias de los vuelos y a ir movilizando más pasajeros”, indicó.
Detalló que los destinos más solicitados son El Vigía, Barquisimeto, Maracaibo, Margarita, Maturín y Maiquetía.
Aseguró que “el inicio de las operaciones no ha incidido para nada en el aumento de los contagios a nivel nacional” y que la tendencia también se dirige a abrir “más rutas” en el país.
El representante del INAC resaltó que tanto los pasajeros como los aeropuertos y líneas aéreas acataron cada una de las normas de bioseguridad.
En entrevista concedida al programa Al Instante que transmite Unión Radio, comentó que “en algún momento” también se pudieran efectuar vuelos en las semanas radicales, pero que es una decisión que depende de la comisión nacional para el COVID-19.
Viajes internacionales
Considera “positivo” el hecho que se permitan viajes turísticos desde Rusia hacia la isla de Margarita y agregó que el INAC estará atento con el cumplimiento de cada una de las medidas sanitarias para prevenir nuevos contagios.
Teixeira indicó que el puente aéreo que se activó en marzo del 2020, ha ejecutado “casi las nueve mil 500 horas de vuelos y más de dos mil 991” viajes.
Afirmó que ahora se suman al esfuerzo que realizan las autoridades para ayudar a toda la población afectada por las lluvias registrada en los últimos días.
