El cantante Marc Anthony adquirió un equipo que será parte del próximo torneo de botes de carreras totalmente eléctricos que se disputará entre el 2 y 3 de febrero próximo en Arabia Saudí, informó este lunes E1, organizadora de la competición.
El salsero es propietario del E1 Team Miami, que será uno de los que dispute en la ciudad de Yeda la edición inaugural de la World Championship E1, la primera competición de botes de carreras eléctricos aprobada por la Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), el organismo rector mundial de la navegación a motor, reseñó EFE.
De esta manera, Anthony se suma a otros deportistas y celebridades que han adquirido alguno de los diez equipos de esta competición, como son el exjugador de fútbol americano Tom Brady, el tenista Rafael Nadal, el piloto de Fórmula Uno Sergio Pérez, el exfutbolista Didier Drogba y el DJ Steve Aoki.
Anthony ya es dueño minoritario del equipo de fútbol americano Miami Dolphins y propietario de Magnus Media, agencia de representación de artistas y atletas, y con esta adquisición suma un nuevo activo a su cartera de negocios deportivos.
