Decenas de conductores se convirtieron en la tracción de un camión cisterna de PDVSA para que llegara a su sitio de destino y así se cumpliera con el propósito de despachar el combustible.
Los usuarios de la estación de servicio Universitaria en Maracaibo fueron informados que no habría despacho debido a que la pesada unidad estaba «varada» a unas cuadras de su destino y por lo tanto se hacía imposible que llegara.
Ante el desespero de estar en la cola por horas, decidieron darle un «empujón» entre los hombres para así garantizar que su tiempo no estaba perdido y llevarse algunos litros en sus autos.
Los hombres sumaron la fuerza para darle la oportunidad de arrancar a la unidad y la misma luego continuó su recorrido pero auxiliada por un camión.
Varios vídeos recogen la situación anecdótica que se podría sumar a la colección asombrosa de «Ripley» la cual permitió que los hombres dieron su esfuerzo para lograr el surtido de gasolina.
