En el marco de una jornada asistencia social de prevención y distribución de insumos contra el COVID-19 realizada este viernes en la parroquia Germán Ríos Linares del municipio Cabimas, el líder del Zulia, Manuel Rosales constató la precariedad de los servicios públicos, así como el profundo deterioro de calles, avenidas y viviendas del sector.
En el recorrido que abarcó más de 5 kilómetros a través de la urbanización Los Laureles, Laureles viejos, Laureles nuevos, Federación 1 y Barrio Simón Bolívar, el líder político criticó el evidente abandono en que se encuentra el municipio.
Según Rosales “la gente vive un viacrucis, el desastre de servicios como luz, agua, gas, combustible, vialidad, recolección de desechos sólidos y transporte solo son una parte del problema. El alto costo de la vida, la creciente inflación, la desatención social y los efectos de la pandemia del Covid 19 les han sumido en la miseria”.
“La tristeza y soledad se han apoderado de nuestras calles, vemos como la actividad comercial, industrial e incluso la agropecuaria han mermado a niveles alarmantes por dos factores específicos como lo son el tema de la electricidad y la escasez de combustible. Sin embargo, el pueblo están convencido de que la solución es un cambio político que nos guíe hacia un futuro de paz, progreso y prosperidad, donde nuestros jóvenes no se vayan del país y florezca la economía. El Zulia no ha perdido la fuerza para impulsar el cambio que nos llevará de nuevo al progreso”.
Asimismo Rosales criticó la deplorable condición de los centros de salud en el Zulia. “Es asombroso como la misma situación se repite en todos los municipios y parroquias del estado, lo que fue la más moderna red de ambulatorios y hospitales con servicios de primera categoría a la fecha son espacios destruidos, desmantelados y en ruinas, donde no hay ni una pastilla para la tensión. La gente tiene que llevar desde el agua hasta el oxígeno, porque estos malos gobernantes todo lo han destruido”.

«El pueblo está a la deriva, sin vacunas ni atención. A esto se suma el problema del agua que en la mayoría del estado ha superado los 50 días sin llegar y en donde llega no es apta para el consumo humano y este servicio es fundamental para mantener la higiene en estos tiempos donde la pandemia donde el Covid 19 avanza a pasos agigantados cobrando miles de vidas, porque no hay vacunas para detener esta tragedia”.
El líder del Zulia enfatizó que es una lucha por la vida y la salud donde no debe existir ningún tipo de exclusión o politización. «El pueblo no puede seguir a la buena de Dios. Es una exigencia que se extiende a lo largo y ancho del país«.
Rosales manifestó que “a pesar de la profunda y evidente crisis que abruma a la gente, la esperanza sigue viva y el pueblo la manifiesta cada vez que recorremos el estado. El compromiso con la recuperación del Zulia y el regreso de la región pujante que un día tuvimos sigue grabada en la mente y corazón del pueblo, razón suficiente para continuar trabajando para ello”.
