Efectivos de la Mancomunidad Policial del Eje Metropolitano del Zulia (Mpemz) retuvieron 30 vehículos que pernoctaban en la estación de servicio Puente Unión, parroquia Francisco Ochoa de San Francisco.
La comisión policial al mando de Reinaldo Lossada, Jefe de Operaciones sargento mayor de 2°, y bajo las directrices de Eliezer Pereira Burgos, director general de la Mpemz, detectó durante la noche del miércoles, a través del patrullaje preventivo, que más de 600 vehículos se encontraban en cola en el corredor vial Circunvalación 1 a la altura de la estación de servicio Puente Unión.
Inmediatamente los uniformados procedieron a notificarles a los conductores que debían retirarse del lugar y como resultado de la negativa de 30 personas fueron trasladados a la sede policial y remitidos sus automoviles al estacionamiento judicial Los Pirelas CA.
Pereira exhortó a los ciudadanos a cumplir con las medidas establecidas por el Gobierno nacional para contener la propagación del COVID-19 reforzadas ante la presencia de las variantes brasileñas.
