El presidente Nicolás Maduro, en su condición de máxima autoridad del Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (PSUV), encabezó la reunión de trabajo realizada con las precandidatas y precandidatos a las primarias de esa organización política, que se celebrará el próximo 8 de agosto.
El líder socialista inició su discurso felicitando la participación de los líderes políticos emergentes, que desde las bases tuvieron amplia participación en la jornada del 27 de junio, que arrojó a los precandidatos que se medirán en las internas.
“Esta es una asamblea de patriotas, de revolucionarias y revolucionarios, de gente profundamente chavista”, saludó Maduro.
El mandatario reflexionó sobre la apuesta que se hizo desde el PSUV por realizar las primarias con una consulta amplia. “Nos propusimos un tremendo reto de jugárnosla con las bases, con las jefas y jefes de las comunidades de la UBCH. Tenemos un profundo reto y nos resteamos con las bases para renovar los liderazgos”, dijo.
Felicitó la organización del Comité Electoral interno del PSUV, encabezada por Diosdado Cabello, de la que dijo que “tiene toda la capacidad moral” para llevar adelante las elecciones primarias del 8 de agosto.
Los precandidatos
En el acto celebrado en el Teatro Teresa Carreño, Maduro indicó la relevancia histórica de este proceso interno. “Ustedes son precandidatos y precandidatas para unas megaelecciones históricas, en las que fueron postulados por el pueblo, por la militancia del partido”, señaló.
“Esto es ensayo y error, y este ensayo ha sido un éxito total”, dijo en referencia al proceso de selección y a las normativas que marcaron el proceso.
Defendió el carácter democrático y participativo de esta jornada del 27 de junio, que fue escondida por los grandes medios de comunicación, por lo que pidió a las UBCH tener una mayor presencia comunicacional para comunicarse con sus vecinos.
“Hay que construir un tremendo poder comunicacional de todas las UBCH, desde los jefes y jefas de calles, de las comunidades”, instruyó.
Agregó que hay que gobernar con ética y respeto al pueblo, y no olvidarse de quiénes los pusieron en esos cargos de elección popular.
“En esta sala están los futuros gobernadores y gobernadoras del país, tienen que ir a gobernar con el pueblo. Hay gente que llega a los cargo y se les olvida quién los puso allí… eso no puede ser en el modelo chavista… en el bolivarianismo del siglo XXI hay que tener ética”, reflexionó.
Caiga quien caiga
El presidente del PSUV destacó que en el proceso de revisión de las candidaturas y en la evaluación de gestión de algunos funcionarios, han detectado algunas irregularidades que no están dispuestos a pasar por alto.
“No se asombren sobre decisiones sobre la comisión electoral sobre las decisiones de justicia que haya que tomar. Caiga quien caiga, aquí no hay privilegios para nadie”, dijo Maduro.
Señaló que son pocas las denuncias, pero que en ese sentido se tomarán “decisiones draconianas” contra algunas autoridades en las regiones sobre las que recaen denuncias sobre malos manejos en sus respectivas gestiones.
El documento compromiso
En el acto, Nicolás Maduro anunció que los candidatos a gobernaciones y alcaldías firmarán un documento compromiso para “gobernar junto al pueblo y no junto a las oligarquías. Poder popular cada vez más”, enfatizó.
Insistió en la ética revolucionaria que debe regir a todos los involucrados en este proceso de postulaciones. Llamó a “construir los valores de la humildad, del desprendimiento”
“El que gane, la que gane las elecciones del domingo 8 de agosto, debe asumirlo con humildad, pero también hay que asumir el apoyo automático y sin zancadillas de toda la militancia revolucionaria”, dijo en relación a la fortaleza de los líderes y lideresas.
Pidió que no se impongan los egos el 8 de agosto, fecha en la que “tiene que ganar la ética nueva, las bases de este movimiento político y social, la idea del poder popular”.
