El presidente Nicolás Maduro indicó que convocó, este lunes, al alto mando político y militar del país «para tomar las riendas y tener una visión más claras de lo que está ocurriendo en el mundo».
Antes de mencionar los resultados del encuentro que mantuvo con parte de su tren ejecutivo, el mandatario nacional recordó que se cumplían tres años del primer apagón nacional que sufrió Venezuela en 2019.
Además, recordó la llegada de la pandemia a Venezuela, pese a que «muchos aseguraban que la enfermedad no tocaría el país».
«Se tomaron las decisiones correspondientes luego de las investigaciones realizadas. Vislumbramos lo que venía y nos preparamos», dijo el jefe del Ejecutivo.
Maduro anunció que tras evaluación de la situación de Ucrania se encuentran «muy preocupados» por una guerra en Europa y una extensión a otros pueblos del mundo.
«Estamos tocando la campana de alerta, de manera humilde y sencilla. No somos una revolución de cobardes. Tenemos una estrategia, un racionamiento, un sentido de lucha, un plan, un estado, un pueblo, una fuerza militar, una unión cívico militar que ha permitido mantener la paz», recalcó Maduro.
Destacó que es fundamental buscar condiciones para lograr acuerdos entre Rusia y Ucrania.
Dijo que ya su Gobierno ha tomado medidas económicas para proteger al pueblo venezolano.
Mencionó que se retomará el diálogo en México. «Vamos hacer un reformateo, porque si estamos pidiendo diálogo para el mundo nosotros tenemos que dar el ejemplo».
El jefe de Estado confirmó, lo que ya había anunciado EEUU, que el sábado recibió a una comisión del Gobierno de Joe Biden. Calificó el encuentro como «respetuoso» y dijo que lo acompañaron Jorge Rodríguez y su esposa Cilia Flores.
«Venezuela está preparada para crecer y producir tres millones de barriles de petróleo si el mundo los necesita», indicó el mandatario nacional.
