Los hombres fueron capturados en labores de patrullaje de seguridad ciudadana y bajo acciones de intervención legal por el Destacamento 111, en la avenida Guajira parroquia Idelfonso Vásquez de Maracaibo.
Los mismos quedaron identificados como: Antonio José Bermúdez Urrutia y Delvis José Palmar Fernández, ambos indocumentados. Ellos se trasladaban a bordo de una camioneta marca Dodger modelo Ram tipo pick up de color azul.
Al momento de la captura se procedió a inspeccionar el vehículo, encontrando de forma oculta en varios compartimientos 68 litros de bebidas alcohólicas, 87 botellas (entre llenas y vacías), 32 tapas, 30 timbres fiscales de licores nacionales y pimpinas con restos de sustancias etílicas.
El caso fue puesto a orden de la fiscalía 13 del Ministerio Público por el delito de adulteración del estado original de licores.
