Durvis Simón Vásquez Vásquez de 46 años de edad, fue asesinado al salir de la casa donde compartía unos tragos en Lavalle Partidas del sector Casco Central de Chichiriviche, municipio Monseñor Iturriza del estado Falcón.
Según las investigaciones que adelanta el Cuerpo de Investigaciones Científicas Penales y Criminalísticas, un sujeto plenamente identificado esperó que Vásquez saliera del lugar para atacarlo con un arma blanca.
Aunque fue llevado al ambulatorio de la localidad, murió a los pocos minutos de su ingreso. El Cicpc junto a la policía de Falcón comenzó las indagaciones y fue identificado el presunto homicida.
Tras hacer un rastreo en la zona, fue aprehendido en la calle Principal del sector Aeropuerto de la misma población. Al momento de la requisa, en el bolsillo llevaba un cuchillo con el que se presume le dio muerte al hoy occiso.
Este sujeto registra tres antecedentes penales. Junto a las evidencias será puesto a orden del Ministerio Público para que continúen las investigaciones.
