Luego de un intenso procedimiento de investigación realizado por funcionarios de la División de Investigaciones Contra Secuestros, Eje Oriente, se logró la aprehensión de Luis Alberto Tuarez (43), apodado Tococo e Iván Orestes Collovini Dare (53), autores materiales e intelectuales del secuestro de un comerciante, ocurrido en la carretera principal de Cruz Verde, parroquia San Cristóbal, municipio Simón Bolívar, estado Anzoátegui el pasado 14 de noviembre.
Del caso se pudo esclarecer policialmente que Iván, valiéndose de la amistad con la víctima y tener conocimiento de sus movimientos, contrató a Luis y otros hombres por identificar y detener; para que lo secuestraran y solicitaron 80 mil dólares americanos a cambio de su liberación.
Posteriormente, convenció a la familia del secuestrado, de formular la denuncia ante el Comando Nacional Antiextorsión y Secuestro (CONAS) y se ofreció a negociar con los secuestradores para que redujeran la cantidad a 10 mil dólares; al lograr la presunta negociación, indicó que entregaría 10 mil dólares, ya que había logrado la reducción del monto.
Sin embargo, los funcionarios del Cicpc al realizar la triangulación telefónica e investigaciones pertinentes, lograron confirmar que Collovini, era el autor intelectual del hecho y colaboró con la familia, con la intención de despistar a las autoridades sobre su responsabilidad penal.
La captura se registró en la parroquia San Cristóbal, municipio Simón Bolívar, estado Anzoátegui; a su vez, fueron verificados en el Sistema de Investigación e Información Policial (Siipol), arrojando como resultado que Luis, posee registros por robo mientras que Iván los tiene por hurto.
Como evidencias, se ubicaron los celulares de los detenidos, quedando a la orden del Ministerio Público.
