Lo capturan con 73 dediles de cocaína en el estómago

Una “narcomula” que viajaba de San Antonio del Táchira a San Cristóbal fue apresado por efectivos de la Guardia Nacional Bolivariana destacados en el puesto de control de Peracal, poco después de que se percatar, que en su estómago trasportaba varios dediles con cocaína.

El procedimiento fue practicado por efectivos del Destacamento 212 de manera conjunta con personal de la Unidad Antidrogas URIA 21 Táchira, en momentos que se encontraban de servicio en el canal de circulación No. 1 del referido puesto alcabalero y se percataron del comportamiento del ciudadano que miraba con mucha atención el proceder de los efectivos militares, en momentos de hacer el chequeo tanto de personas, como de vehículos.

Lo que parecía ser una conducta curiosa del hombre llamó la atención de los guardias que se le acercaron. Fue en ese momento que asumió un comportamiento evasivo, situación que fue rápidamente controlada. Terminó por confesar a las autoridades que transportaba en su estómago 73 envoltorios de cocaína que había ingerido poco antes de emprender recorrido a la capital tachirense.

Debido al peligro que esta situación presentaba un gran riesgo para la integridad física del ciudadano, con la urgencia del caso, fue trasladado a un centro asistencial en la zona de frontera, donde se le practicó una radiográfica que permitió corroborar lo dicho por el sospecho, que fue hospitalizado para que, mediante procedimiento médico, procedieron a la expulsión de las cápsulas con droga, según lo explicó un vocero del Comando de Zona No. 21 de la GNB.

En total fueron recuperadas las 73 cápsulas con una sustancia que, al ser verificada mediante experticias, quedó identificada como cocaína, para un peso de 1 kilo 25 gramos que fueron entregadas como evidencia al Ministerio Público.

Las autoridades no revelaron detalles sobre el ciudadano detenido, ni otros aspectos del caso, puesto que la investigación se encuentra en pleno desarrollo y no se descarta tenga relación con otros casos de tráfico de drogas detectados la pasada semana, uno de ellos en el mismo puesto de control de Peracal, donde fueron apresadas dos mujeres con cocaína en sus estómagos y el ingreso de una mujer, con cocaína en su cuerpo, al puesto de emergencia del Hospital del Seguro Social en Santa Teresa.
