Más de 30 mil familias de Cabimas recibieron este sábado 18 de diciembre las jornadas médicas y de alimentos organizadas por el gobernador del estado Zulia, Manuel Rosales, para beneficio de todos habitantes de la región.
José Luis Alcalá, secretario de Gobierno, acompañado por Nabil Maalouf, alcalde de Cabimas, explicó que sólo para esta jornada el Ejecutivo regional dispuso más de 150 toneladas de alimentos para los habitantes de los sectores Rosa Vieja y El Porvenir de la parroquia La Rosa.
«Estos Mercados Populares forman parte de las solicitudes que realizaron los ciudadanos en cada una de las giras del Gobernador por el estado y hoy se le da respuesta a las familias zulianas, cumpliendo con la palabra empeñada», señaló.
Alcalá recordó que los Mercados Populares, las Clínicas Móviles y los otros programas sociales que impulsa el gobernador Manuel Rosales seguirán desarrollándose en cada uno de los 21 municipios de la región.
«Cada municipio recibirá estas jornadas sociales para que todos los zulianos estén atendidos con los programas sociales de la Gobernación», resaltó Alcalá.
Las Clínicas Móviles se desplegaron en la cancha La Pastora, en el barrio La Pastora de la parroquia Jorge Hernández, donde resultaron beneficiados más de mil 700 familias.
Alcalá precisó que el norte de la gestión es dignificar la calidad de vida de los zulianos, razón por la que se reactivaron los programas sociales liderados por el gobernador Manuel Rosales.
Héctor Hernández, uno de los beneficiados por las jornadas, señaló la importancia de estas actividades debido a la necesidad que está pasando el pueblo.
«Si compras comidas no puedes comprar alimentos. Por eso estar jornadas son extraordinarias. Te ves con el médico, te dan las medicinas y te queda el dinero para comprar alimentos buenos y de excelente calidad», indicó.
La educadora Carmen Crespo calificó como excelentes las jornadas médicas y de alimentación porque son la muestra de que hay un compromiso para lograr el cambio que verdaderamente beneficie al pueblo.
«Nos chequean, nos dan las medicinas y si necesitamos una operación seguramente nos la canalizarán», finalizó.
