El Alcázar-Auger-Aliassime fue el duelo de mayor precocidad en una instancia tan avanzada de un Gran Slam desde que un Nadal, con 20 años, derrotó a Novak Djokovic, de 19, en los cuartos del Abierto de Francia 2006.
