El Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos en Bolivia (OACNUDH) recomendó este sábado un juicio «justo, independiente e imparcial» y que se salvaguarde el «debido proceso» para las exautoridades interinas aprehendidas en las últimas horas, entre ellas la expresidenta transitoria Jeanine Áñez.
La OACNUDH publicó este sábado en su cuenta de Twitter algunos puntos que se deben observar «estrictamente» a raíz de las aprehensiones de la expresidenta interina Áñez y los exministros transitorios Álvaro Coímbra, de Justicia, y Álvaro Rodrigo Guzmán, de Energía.
Esa entidad indicó que se debe salvaguardar «el debido proceso, lo que implica que toda persona cuente con una defensa adecuada y sea sometida a un juicio justo, independiente e imparcial».
Asimismo que se «garantice la publicidad del proceso y que no se empleen tipos penales ambiguos o desproporcionados».
Áñez fue aprehendida en la madrugada de este sábado en la región amazónica de Beni y fue trasladada en un avión Hércules de la Fuerza Aérea de Bolivia hasta la ciudad de La Paz.
El viernes fueron aprehendidos los dos exministros en la misma región que también fueron conducidos a La Paz.
La expresidenta y los exministros son acusados de «sedición y terrorismo» durante la crisis de 2019 tras las elecciones fallidas que derivaron en la renuncia de Evo Morales a la Presidencia.
SOLIDARIDAD
Las órdenes de aprehensión también pesan en contra de los exministros de Gobierno (Interior) transitorio Arturo Murillo y de Defensa Luis Fernando López.
Murillo, quien se encuentra en paradero desconocido, se solidarizó con la expresidenta a través de un mensaje en Twitter y calificó de un «atropello» su detención.
«Mi solidaridad con la mujer, madre y amiga expresidenta Jeanine Áñez que entregó todo por Bolivia, incluso su libertad. Sufre el atropello de un gobierno tiránico. Fuerza amiga, estamos del lado correcto de la historia, y será ella quien nos juzgue», escribió.
En la mañana de este sábado la expresidenta fue trasladada de las celdas de la Fuerza Especial de Lucha Contra el Crimen (Felcc) en La Paz hasta la Fiscalía para que brinde su declaración informativa por el supuesto «golpe de Estado» en contra de Evo Morales.
Áñez manifestó a los medios locales que se trata de un «amedrentamiento político» y que detrás de todo este proceso está el Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS) del presidente Luis Arce y del expresidente Evo Morales (2006-2019).
Además enfatizó que no se está respetando su «estatus de expresidenta» y que acudirá a instancia internacionales.
Unas horas después los medios locales reportaron que Áñez volvió a ser conducida a las celdas de la Felcc y que se acogió al derecho al silencio en su declaración informativa.
VIGILIA EN LA FISCALÍA
Un par de personas con carteles llegó hasta la puerta de la Fiscalía de La Paz para hacer una vigilia pidiendo «justicia» por los disturbios acaecidos en Sacaba, en la central Cochabamba, y Senkata, en la ciudad de El Alto, durante la crisis de 2019 tras las elecciones anuladas.
El grupo de personas pedía justicia y cárcel para la expresidenta Áñez. En ese momento llegó hasta el lugar el indígena Rafael Quispe, quien fue director del Fondo de Desarrollo Indígena en el Gobierno transitorio de
Áñez, quien también es candidato a la Gobernación de La Paz. Quispe declaró a los medios que la aprehensión de Áñez y sus exministros es una «cortina de humo» para tapar el «fraude» que se está realizando en las elecciones subnacionales.
