El portavoz del Ejecutivo alemán, Steffen Seibert, informó por Twitter del paso dado por la canciller y aportó una fotografía en la que aparece la cartilla de vacunación de Merkel y el documento de haber recibido la primera dosis de la controvertida fórmula de la farmacéutica sueco-británica.
«Me alegro de haber recibido hoy la primera dosis de AstraZeneca. Agradezco a todos los que participan en este campaña de vacunación y a todos los que se dejan vacunar», aseguró la canciller, citada por el portavoz.
«La vacunación es clave para superar la pandemia» agregó Merkel a través de esa red social.
