Con más de 40 años de tradición deleitando los paladares de los zulianos y los visitantes que llegan a la tierra del Sol Amada, reabre nuevamente el famoso lugar La Arepa Coriana.
Con el sabor único que caracteriza a esta arepa pelada, frita, rellena de pernil, con queso de mano, jamón ahumado y las salsas preferidas; los clientes llegaron súper emocionados a probar ese plato que tomó una pausa de tres años, aproximadamente, por la pandemia, en su día de reencuentro de emociones al paladar.
Desde este viernes 28 de abril las mesas fueron dispuestas para reabrir a casa llena, ya que el público estaba ansioso por tener esta opción para disfrutar de un plato que se ha ganado la aceptación de muchos en la ciudad.
Emiliano Pérez, uno de los presentes que estaba acompañado de su esposa e hijos en el nuevo local establecido en la avenida 9B con calle 78 Cecilio Acosta, dijo a Foco Informativo sentirse «complacido al probar de nuevo la arepa coriana porque a pesar de todos los años que han pasado siguen manteniendo ese sabor único que la caracteriza».
«Lo único que cambió fue el lugar. Antes yo era uno de los que no desaprovechaba cualquier oportunidad para ir hasta la avenida Bella Vista con calle 80, al lado del Centro Comercial Roxy, para saborear este delicioso manjar de dioses», indicó mientras disfrutaba de su cena.
Ángel David Atencio, quien tiene 21 años preparando las arepas, explicó que fue un «golpe bajo lo que sintió porque los dueños del local tuvieron que cerrar por la pandemia el 16 de marzo del 2020, pero gracias a Dios ya volvimos a reabrir y estamos muy contentos».
El «Gallito», como lo reconocen los clientes que llegan a saludarlo, con mucho cariño señaló que la realización de la arepa coriana tiene muchos secretos, entre ellos la preparación del pernil, la salsa.
Entre risas destacó que se reserva la fórmula más importante que lleva la elaboración del maíz, «porque eso lo preparo yo, al momento de hacer las arepas, aunque te digo el secreto principal es prepararlas con mucho amor».
Atencio, mientras atendía a sus clientes, aseguró que mantienen el sabor desde hace 44 años y aprovechó la oportunidad para invitar a los marabinos a que vayan a disfrutar de esta arepa que él mismo los estará esperando para que se vayan satisfecho.
