El juzgado 20 civil del Circuito de Medellín falló este miércoles, 27 de octubre de 2021, una tutela en favor de Martha Sepúlveda, paciente con esclerosis lateral amiotrófica (ELA) que busca que le practiquen la eutanasia.
En la sentencia, el juzgado consideró que el derecho de Martha Sepúlveda a morir dignamente se habría vulnerado luego de que le cancelaran el procedimiento que tenía previsto para el domingo 10 de octubre y le ordenó al Instituto Colombiano del Dolor, Incodol, realizárselo, reseñó Caracol.

En ese sentido, fijó un plazo de 48 horas para que Incodol acuerde con la paciente la nueva fecha de la eutanasia.
El fallo es de primera instancia y ampara el derecho de Martha Sepúlveda a morir dignamente, en concordancia con la sentencia de la Corte Constitucional que amplió la eutanasia a pacientes con enfermedades no terminales .
