Julio Castro: Era esperable el brote en colegios con la vuelta a clases

El médico infectólogo, Julio Castro, aseveró que los brotes registrados en los últimos días en varias escuelas del país, no significa que haya que cerrarlas nuevamente.

«Era esperable (…) Nosotros tenemos que seguir vacunando a los niños progresivamente», dijo

Acotó que en ninguna parte del mundo se ha condicionado la vuelta a clases presenciales con la vacunación; sin embargo, hizo un llamado a tomar la previsiones y medidas pertinentes para evitar que los niños se contagien, reseñó Unión Radio.

Durante una entrevista, aseveró que es primordial inmunizar a las personas mayores ante el alto riesgo que corren a diferencia de un niño, aunque esto no quiere decir que el sistema inmunológico de un infante y de un adulto sea totalmente diferente.

«Lo ideal es que los adultos estén vacunados y próximamente los niños, esa es la lógica de esto», aseveró.

Reiteró que el uso de candidatos vacunales en niños no debe ser usado como una estrategia de vacunación diseminada.
