Jorge Luis Chacín, el compositor venezolano de grandes estrellas como Christina Aguilera, Camilo, Thalía, Prince Royce, CNCO y Marc Anthony, se une al cantante colombiano Gusi en el sencillo “Ya compré el anillo”, el hit más esperado en el mes del amor.
“Es un homenaje a esas orquestas de antaño, de mis padres y abuelos, como Billo’s Caracas Boys o Los Melódicos, en cuanto a sonoridad. Logramos una fusión entre sonidos modernos actuales y los que se usaban antes. Una mezcla que puede gustar tanto a jóvenes como a adultos”, explicó Chacín sobre la nueva canción.
Considerado uno de los músicos latinoamericanos más completos, Chacín define cada una de sus creaciones como una fusión de estilos influenciado por ritmos latinos, venezolanos y afrodescendientes.
Además, de los ya mencionados, sus canciones han sido seleccionadas por diferentes artistas para sus producciones discográficas, entre ellos Ricardo Montaner, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Diego Torres, Ricardo Arjona, Víctor Manuelle, Becky G, Naty Peluso & Niki Nicole.
Participó en la composición del tema oficial del SPRINT para la Copa Mundial del
2018, que fue interpretada por Prince Royce y Chocquitown y durante más de ocho años formó parte de la super banda Guaco. Ha estado nominado cuatro veces a los premios Latin Grammy en la categoría de “Mejor álbum tropical contemporáneo” y “Mejor canción tropical”.
Gusi, por su parte, es uno de los líderes del pop latino colombiano. Integró el recordado dueto Gusi & Beto y ha recibido varias nominaciones al Latin Grammy en las categorías «Mejor Álbum de Cumbia Vallenato» y «Mejor Canción Tropical».
