Hebert Montero Abreu de 71 años de edad, Capitán de Navío y jefe de la Capitanía del Puerto de la Ceiba, estado Trujillo, tomó la lamentable decisión de acabar con su vida en horas de la tarde de este viernes 19 de noviembre al propinarse un disparo dentro de su vivienda ubicada en el sector Las Acacias, municipio Valera.
De acuerdo a los testimonios de la esposa del hoy occiso, Montero se encontraba bajo una fuerte depresión debido a su difícil situación de salud por lo que tomo la decisión terminar con su vida utilizando un arma de fuego, tipo revólver.
Al lugar de los hechos, se hicieron presentes funcionarios de la Policía Nacional Bolivariana (PNB) y del Cuerpo de Investigaciones, Científicas, Penales y Criminalísticas (CICPC), quienes iniciaron las investigaciones pertinentes al caso.
