Enrique Quintana, presidente del Instituto Nacional de Tránsito Terrestre (INTT), señaló que actualmente el ente que preside se ocupa del Plan del Reordenamiento del Transporte Terrestre en el país, un esfuerzo que requiere de todos los gobiernos: municipales, regionales y el nacional, además de todas las instituciones y la ciudadanía a través del poder comunal.
“Ese esfuerzo requiere revisar paradas, terminales, precios, rutas, unidades, servicios, condiciones, características, es muy importante que debemos hacer todos los entes responsables de transporte en Venezuela”, enfatizó en entrevista a Esther Quiaro en el programa Al Instante de Unión Radio.
Detalló que el INTT cuanta con 75 oficinas en todo el país. “Están reuniéndose con los alcaldes, administradores de los terminales, operadores del servicio de transporte a fin de unificar las condiciones del servicio junto a los consejos comunales”.
Avances tecnológicos
Destacó que en 2020 se sacó el primer trámite automatizado que es la renovación de la licencia y ese mismo año otorgamos “certificación de datos para efectos consulares para certificar la licencia venezolana por parte el INTT y el apostillo por parte de la cancillería”.
Agregó que posteriormente en 2021 habilitaron una plataforma para el control de las escuelas del transporte terrestre de manera automatizada. “Sacamos también la automatización y el duplicado del certificado de registro, el título de propiedad del vehículo que desde la página puedo solicitarlo, cancelarlo y recibirlo como un documento electrónico con firma electrónica y código QR”.
Quintana aseguró que la idea es automatizar todo el sistema dentro de las nuevas tecnologías blockchain.
Control de tránsito en las ciudades
Recordó que en materia de tránsito en 2007 se trasladaron las competencias de seguridad vial a la Policía Nacional Bolivariana (PNB).
“En el INTT nos dedicamos a las tareas de autorización de transporte terrestre en Venezuela, resguardo de información, autorización de operadores en tareas de señalización y demarcación en las 19 principales troncales del país”, precisó.
Aclaró que todo lo relacionado con al tránsito en las ciudades corresponde de las policías municipales y la PNB comparte las competencias. “Hay tareas de seguimiento y control que deben realizarse sobre estas políticas establecidas por los entes municipales”.
