Iglesia Católica rinde homenaje póstumo al exnuncio Apostólico en Venezuela, monseñor Aldo Giordano.
Este domingo, la nunciatura apostólica rindió homenaje en su capilla al exnuncio, monseñor Aldo Giordano, publica Unión Radio.
El cardenal Baltasar Porras presidió esta celebración religiosa, concelebrada por el obispo auxiliar de Caracas, monseñor Ricardo Barreto, y monseñor Ignacio Ecefalia, encargado de negocio de la nunciatura apostólica.
Giordano cumplió su misión en Venezuela por casi 8 años hasta el 8 de mayo de 2021, fecha en la que se le nombró nuncio apostólico ante la Unión Europea.
El represente eclesiástico falleció en Bruselas el pasado 2 de diciembre como consecuencia del COVID-19.
