Hamilton, de 36 años, perdió, por sólo siete milésimas, ante su compañero finlandés Valtteri Bottas, la oportunidad de elevar a cien su récord histórico de ‘poles’ en Fórmula Uno, pero optará este domingo a aumentar a 97 su plusmarca de victorias en la categoría reina.
«Hay que felicitar a Valtteri (Bottas) y al equipo, que han hecho un gran trabajo. Es un sensacional resultado, que estemos ambos en la primera fila, es un resultado que no esperábamos», comentó Hamilton en la entrevista oficial a pie de pista después de la cronometrada principal para el Gran Premio de Portugal, señor
