En los próximos días se activarán 10 nuevos centros para la vacunación contra el COVID-19 en la capital del país, que inició el fin de semana en su segunda fase.
Desde el Hotel Alba Caracas, la alcaldesa de Caracas, Érika Farías, precisó que desde el sábado se han vacunado cerca de seis mil personas, prioridad para adultos mayores con enfermedades de bases y al personal sanitario.
«Estamos priorizando a los adultos mayores, especialmente a los que tienen alguna enfermedad de base e igualmente estamos priorizando al personal de salud público y privado que han quedado rezagado», manifestó.
Recalcó que la meta es aplicar las vacunas rusas y china a la población priorizadas en las dos primeras etapas del plan de inmunización.
Hasta la fecha han llegado al país 2.680.000 entre Sputnik-V y Verocell. Unión Radio.
