Ali, en declaraciones divulgadas este miércoles en un comunicado por el Ejecutivo de Georgetown, dijo que esa es la vía que seguirá su país, después de las conversaciones mantenidas con el secretario general de la Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA), Luis Almagro, en la Oficina de la Misión Permanente de Guyana en Nueva York.
El presidente del país suramericano destacó que durante su encuentro con Almagro se trataron temas como el fortalecimiento de la democracia en Guyana a través de una reforma electoral y, sobre todo, el apoyo de todo el espectro político de Guyana en la controversia fronteriza con Venezuela.
