En entrevista con la revista Semana de Colombia, Petro emitió su opinión sobre el presidente de Venezuela.
“Es un tipo que no ha sido capaz de desligar a Venezuela del petróleo, es una persona que está dentro de las dirigencias de la política de la muerte”, indicó el candidato colombiano
Gustavo Petro consideró que Hugo Chávez fracasó en su intento de desligar a Venezuela del petróleo; sin embargo, “quienes vivían allí creían que eso era el cambio y votaban por él”, según detalla Mundo UR.
“La imagen de Maduro no es de un líder de izquierda, es un integrante muy conservador de las facciones más regresivas de la política mundial que están tratando de defender que el mundo permanezca en una economía fósil”, insistió Petro.
