Un borrador de un guion original que perteneció al actor estadounidense Harrison Ford de la primera película de la serie de La guerra de las galaxias (1977 – Star Wars) se vendió este sábado por 10.795 libras (12.620 euros), según confirmó la sala de subastas Excalibur Auctions.
El guion original de la cinta ‘Una nueva esperanza’ es el cuarto borrador revisado de un total de cinco, con fecha del 15 de marzo de 1976, y se había valorado inicialmente en 8.000 libras (9.352 euros), publica Mundo UR.
Ese borrador se utilizó cuando Ford rodaba en los estudios británicos de Elstree, en el condado de Hertfordshire, en el Reino Unido, y fue la primera vez en que la estrella de Hollywood participaba en la franquicia dando vida al icónico personaje de Han Solo.
Al parecer, Ford se lo olvidó en el apartamento de Londres que alquilaba mientras grababa el filme, y más tarde los caseros de la vivienda lo encontrarían entre otras propiedades que almacenaron durante más de 50 años y que hoy subastaron sus nietos.
Ford contaba entonces con un presupuesto asignado por los estudios con el que buscó y alquiló el piso situado en el famoso y céntrico barrio londinense de Notting Hill, al oeste de la capital británica, para poder viajar de manera fácil hasta el rodaje, y fue en esa vivienda donde el intérprete forjó una sólida amistad con la familia propietaria.
Los dueños del piso no sabían entonces quién era Ford y de él comentaban que era «un inquilino excelente, muy ordenado», con el que con frecuencia compartían alguna bebida en el jardín cuando éste terminaba de grabar, según relataron a la casa de subastas.
Pese a estar incompleto, el guion incluye escenas y personajes que acabarían desapareciendo del montaje definitivo.
