Reiterando que entiende que es prioritario preservar la vida de los venezolanos, la activista social insistió que no se puede dejar morir a la ya precaria economía nacional. En este sentido, enfatizó que el Ejecutivo está obligados a presentar al país un plan nacional de vacunación que garantice que tanto médicos y enfermeras como el sector productivo nacional puedan avanzar, mientras se pone fin a la grave ola de contagios que registra el país.
“Lo hemos dicho al país y hoy lo reiteramos, la política no puede estar por encima de la vida de nuestros ciudadanos”, destacó Reyes. Al mismo tiempo insistió que es repudiable que desde el poder se sigan excusando en las sanciones evadir la enorme responsabilidad de vacunar a los ciudadanos. “Irán, país sancionado mucho antes que Venezuela, esta semana recibió 700.000 vacunas por parte del Covax”, ejemplarizó.
En este sentido, también la dirigente condenó que en el país surjan mercados negros de vacunas y, peor aún, mafias que intenten estafar a los más necesitados con la esperanza de la inmunización. “No son tiempos de destruirnos entre hermanos, apelamos a los buenos venezolanos para ayudarnos entre todos y salvar la vida de quienes más lo necesiten”, pidió.
Griselda Reyes también sumó la importancia de apoyar planes concretos presentados por los principales gremios del país y que descargarán al hoy quebrado Estado socialista de quienes no están en capacidad de vacunarse. “Mientras la administración de Maduro y quienes tienen los fondos adjudicados a la anterior Asamblea Nacional dejan sus mezquindades y se sientan a buscar soluciones reales, estamos obligados a tener conciencia ciudadana. Cuidarnos y cuidar a los nuestros”, imploró.
