Gobernador Prieto entrega premiación a los ganadores del Festival Una Gaita para el Zulia 2021

La noche de este lunes 15 de noviembre se llevó a cabo la gala de premiación del Festival Una Gaita para el Zulia 2021 «Un Canto a María», en el Centro de Arte de Maracaibo Lía Bermúdez, allí el Gobernador del estado Zulia, Omar Prieto Fernández y la primera dama Jesica Lucena otorgaron el premio a la mejor composición del año, en honor al gaitero Ricardo Portillo.

Durante el evento el mandatario regional felicitó a Ramón Soto Urdaneta, secretario para la Gaita e Identidad Nacional, y a todo su equipo de trabajo, por el espectáculo que dignifica a «la reina de Folklore» y por rendirle homenaje en vida en tan hermoso evento a un personaje que ha llevado el género a todos los escenarios del mundo como lo es Ricardo Portillo.

Minutos antes de anunciar al ganador, Prieto Fernández destacó que todas las gaitas conmueven, por lo cual se tomó el nombre de la Madre de Jesús y aplaudió a todos los gaiteros y participantes por tan excelsas composiciones presentadas este año.

En el evento se presentaron 15 propuestas musicales en honor a la Virgen María, las cuales fueron interpretadas en el escenario reconocidos gaiteros de la región, previo a la deliberación del jurado.

En la categoría de Venezolanos en el exterior, en tercer lugar quedó el tema «Magia Mariana», del compositor Lisandro Chacín, del municipio Mara y residenciado en España; en segundo lugar, «María María» de Abdenago «Neguito» Borjas, residenciado en Estados Unidos y en primer lugar el tema «Un día para soñar» del compositor José Tremot, residenciado en Argentina. La canción ganadora en esta categoría fue interpretada por Janny Luz Urdaneta.

En la categoría de venezolanos y venezolanas que permanecen en la nación, en tercer lugar quedó la Gaita «Letanía» del compositor e intérprete Roque Perozo; en segundo lugar «Alegoría Mariana», del autor Renato Aguirre González, el cual fue interpretado por Ricardo Perón Aguirre y José Leonardo Linares; y la Gaita ganadora de l primer lugar en esta edición del «Festival Una Gaita Para el Zulia», fue para «Pedro Lucas y la Virgen» del autor Tito Delgado, interpretada por Lula López.

Además Prieto Fernández otorgó un reconocimiento especial al tema «Corazón de Madre, del cantautor Argenis Sánchez, por la profundidad del mensaje cristiano en la letra de la canción.
