La cantante mexicana Gloria Trevi ve en la música una gran vía para sanar, una catarsis que le permitirá llevar un mensaje de «esperanza» en su recorrido por Estados Unidos con la gira «Isla Divina«, después de haber caído en la «oscuridad«.
En una entrevista con Efe en Miami, donde anunció que en la segunda mitad de este año hará 40 paradas en EEUU con la gira que actualmente la tiene recorriendo México, Trevi dijo que en los momentos de introspección para hacer un «recuento» de los daños causados por la pandemia encontró el «brillo» al que ahora se aferra para mirar el futuro.
Ese mensaje positivo se reflejará en sus conciertos, que promete acabar «en lo más alto posible«, porque esa «isla divina» que da nombre a la gira es el «lugar al que pertenecemos, el que nos merecemos» como seres humanos, subrayó.
Tras una dura etapa en la que perdió seres queridos debido al coronavirus y otros se quitaron la vida debido a una depresión causada por la pandemia, la cantante de Monterrey dijo que regresar a los escenarios supone una mezcla de «nostalgia y adrenalina«.
Porque los artistas tienen la obligación, dijo, de animar el espíritu y llevar un mensaje de esperanza a sus seguidores, como ella quiere hacer con la gira «Isla Divina» en 40 ciudades de EEUU, porque cuando tocas fondo es cuando hay que «renacer de las cenizas» y eso es lo que ella ha hecho.
Es lo que le sucedió en el año 2000, cuando mordió el «fango» y pasó tres años en prisión bajo cargos de rapto, violación y corrupción de menores, aunque finalmente fue absuelta y recuperó la libertad.
Pero también se levantó de aquella situación y su nuevo espectáculo muestra esa travesía íntima por el sufrimiento y la redención, porque esa «isla divina» sobre la que gira el tour, explicó, está dentro de cada persona y durante dos horas y media de concierto ella y su público pasan desde lo más «oscuro» a una brillante ilusión.
Conciertos de sensaciones
Y lo hará a través de sus propias canciones, 25 en total, incluyendo sus grandes éxitos y las que formarán parte de su nuevo disco, que saldrá a la venta en abril próximo.
«Mi sueño es que después del concierto vivas una experiencia que te llene de sensaciones, y ese sentimiento dure 24 horas, una semana, un mes o toda la vida«, dijo Trevi, quien además de vender 30 millones de discos en todo el mundo es conocida por la fuerza de sus presentaciones.
La parte estadounidense de la gira Isla Divina comenzará el 13 de agosto en la llamada Isla del Encanto, Puerto Rico, y acabará en Miami con dos espectáculos el 2 y 3 de diciembre.
Los boletos ya se encuentran en fase de preventa y saldrán definitivamente al mercado el próximo día 25 para poder verla en directo en lugares como Las Vegas (16 de septiembre), San Antonio (21 de agosto), Denver (22 de octubre) y Nueva York (11 de noviembre).
Trevi ya trabaja para llevar este espectáculo a España, Centroamérica y Suramérica, donde quiere mostrar también los nuevos arreglos que ha preparado para temas clásicos de su repertorio como «Pelo suelto«, con una versión «más salvaje, más africana, que te avienta a liberarte«, o «Dr. Psiquiatra«, que tiene en directo un tono «súper rockero«.
Nuevo disco
En enero pasado, cuando giró por su México natal, ya entregó «La Recaída«, un tema compuesto por la propia Trevi y Marcela de la Garza y que, con influencias de flamenco, se engarza dentro de las clásicas baladas pop que la han hecho famosa.
El disco «Isla Divina» probablemente incluirá además «Ensayando cómo pedirte perdón» y «Nos volvimos locos«, con Guaynaa.
Y se espera que incluya más colaboraciones, que la cantautora regiomontana no quiso desvelar todavía, aunque sí adelantó que ella sigue manteniéndose fiel a su estilo.
«Es muy importante ser muy honesta con mi música, con lo que comunico al público, porque si voy a hacer algo que está de moda o creo que va a hacer dinero, pero no estoy de acuerdo con el concepto, no conecto, no puedo, y si no conecto lo pierdo todo«, indicó.
Y volverá a apostar por «tener una canción para cada sentimiento, para cada momento«, pero ahora viviéndolos en una isla divina, lo que permite que incluso los malos tragos se vean desde un punto de vista de «esperanza».
