Ganó la lotería y fue a cobrar el premio disfrazado para que nadie le pida plata

Ocurrió en Jamaica. Un hombre que ganó el pozo de 158 millones de dólares se presentó a cobrar el dinero, disfrazado y con una mascara de Halloween.

10, 14, 16, 25, 27 y 5. Estos pueden parecer números ordinarios, sin embargo, para A. Campbell (como decidió llamarse el protagonista) significaron un radical cambio en su vida: ganar la lotería. Esos números acababan de darle un pozo de 158 millones de dólares.

Pero a la hora de cobrarlo, después de 54 días de haberlo ganado y mucho meditar, decidió ir a buscar su premio, disfrazado. No tenía intenciones de compartir con nadie su fortuna y no quiso que la televisión lo filme en ese momento. Así, se le ocurrió esta magnifica idea.

Campbell había gastado 1 dólar para conseguir un premio de 158 millones de dólares jamaicanos. Sin dudas, una fortuna en comparación a la mala situación económica jamaiquina donde, fuentes oficiales, determinan que un salario mínimo ronda los 500 dólares.

Sin embargo, Campbell tardó 54 días en presentarse en las oficinas centrales de la lotería para reclamar su premio, un tiempo más que excesivo y que provocó que la empresa que gestiona los sorteos pusiera un anuncio en los medios de comunicación alertando al ganador de que sólo tenía 90 días para presentar el boleto agraciado
Ganó la lotería y fue a cobrar el premio disfrazado para que nadie le pida plata.

Como no quiso que se conozca su cara ni su nombre, decidió recoger el premio disfrazado del protagonista de “Scream”. Sin embargo, sí ha compartido los recuerdos del día que ganó: “Miré mi boleto y corrí al baño: ¡Gané! ¡Gané!”. Aunque también confesó sentirse enfermo desde aquel momento por no creer lo que estaba viviendo.
También contó que, además de prevenirse de los delincuentes, fue disfrazado para evitar compartir su fortuna con su familia y amigos, poniendo una enfermedad que decía tener, como enfermedad.

Ahora, una vez que solventó ese trámite, Campbell sólo piensa en qué se gastará el dinero. Lo primero que tiene pensado es comprarse una linda y lujosa casa.
