Fiscalía descarta que muertes violentas en Arauca se dieran en combates

Una comisión investigativa de la Fiscalía General de la Nación constató que los hechos de violencia ocurridos durante las primeras horas del año en el departamento de Arauca dejan 27 personas fallecidas.

Los reportes dan cuenta de que las víctimas fueron obligadas a salir de sus viviendas por hombres armados. Algunas habrían sido llevadas a Venezuela, asesinadas y posteriormente trasladas territorio colombiano. Otras murieron en Colombia, pero los cuerpos los abandonaron en lugares lejanos a sus residencias.

“Los 27 cuerpos se encuentran en la sede del Instituto de Medicina Legal y Ciencias Forenses. En este momento, se realizan las necrópsicas con la mayor celeridad. Hasta el momento han sido identificadas 20 personas. Dos son mujeres, otras dos menores de edad y cuatro ciudadanos venezolanos”, precisó el fiscal General de la Nación, Francisco Barbosa.

Preliminarmente, las inspecciones han establecido que todas las víctimas recibieron disparos a corta distancia, en la modalidad de sicariato. Esto indica que no hubo combates.

La Fiscalía constató que cuatro de los identificados están vinculados a investigaciones como presuntos integrantes de las disidencias del frente décimo de las FARC. Otros cuatro figuran como indiciados en las bases de datos institucionales.

El análisis de contexto realizado en la región y el material de prueba obtenido evidencian que los responsables de estos homicidios son las estructuras armadas del Frente de Guerra Oriental del ELN, que delinquen en Arauca, Boyacá y Casanare. Por línea jerárquica y organizativa, esta acción tuvo que ser autorizada y dirigida por el Comando Central (COCE).
