Placencia indicó a través de la red social Twitter, que aprovechó la oportunidad de saludar e invitar a Venezuela a la interprete de ‘Diamonds’, quien fue invitada de honor y distinguida como “héroe nacional” en Barbados.

La cantante era la madrina de la ceremonia llamada Orgullo de la nacionalidad, donde dignatarios y altos funcionarios, entre ellos Plasencia, estaban invitados para acompañar la transición de la reina Isabel II como jefa de Estado de Barbados a la primera presidenta, Sandra Mason.
