Buena parte de la actividad económica de Venezuela se encuentra paralizada, debido a la crítica escasez de diésel, la cual subsiste luego de casi ocho años de recesión, dijo el presidente de la Federación de Ganaderos de Venezuela (Fedenaga), Armando Chacín, quien alertó que la seguridad alimentaria de la población se encuentra comprometida por la falta de este hidrocarburo.
Chacín denunció que otra parte de la falla en el suministro es, que no están asignando los cupos en las estaciones de servicio, los cuales corresponden al sector, por lo que se han visto obligados a acudir al mercado negro, para intentar palear la operatividad de sus maquinarias agrícolas y generadores de electricidad.
Indicó que los precios van desde 1 dólar a 3 dólares por litro de diésel, en entrevista para Fedecámaras Radio, quien advirtió que hay una parálisis técnica, lo que hace casi imposible trabajar.
El presidente de la federación recalcó que los alimentos más económicos que hay en Latinoamérica, los hay en Venezuela.
“Un kilo de carne en pie aquí cuesta 1 dólar contra 2 dólares que está en el extranjero, quiere decir que nuestras estructuras de costo no soportan los precios del diésel y la gasolina”, dijo.
Tras esta preocupante realidad, el empresario hizo alusión a la necesidad de respaldar la propuesta del sector privado de importar combustible. No obstante, siguen esperando por una respuesta oficial.
“Vemos con mucha preocupación que no hay ninguna autoridad que nos aclare y la preocupación es que sabemos lo que está pasando en el campo, no se están produciendo los alimentos necesarios”, expuso Armando Chacín.
