El director de cine estadounidense Peter Bogdanovich, artífice del oscarizado clásico «The Last Picture Show» (1971), falleció a los 82 años, según informó este jueves The Hollywood Reporter.
Su hija, Antonia Bogdanovich, dijo a ese medio que el cineasta con medio siglo de trayectoria murió hoy poco después de la medianoche, por causas naturales, en su casa de Los Ángeles.
Bogdanovich, nacido en 1939 en Nueva York (EEUU), fue de los directores más importantes del Nuevo Hollywood de la década de 1970 y deja un legado con una veintena de reconocidos títulos, entre ellos «What’s Up, Doc?» (1972) y «Paper Moon» (1973).
