De cara a las elecciones regionales y municipales del 21 de noviembre, las autoridades del Ejecutivo nacional efectuaron una videoconferencia para evaluar el plan de mantenimiento sostenido de la infraestructura eléctrica.
De acuerdo con el ministro para Energía Eléctrica, Néstor Reverol, repasaron las áreas de generación, transmisión, distribución y control de vegetación, refiere una nota de prensa.
Además, detalló que repasaron las estrategias para el resguardo de instalaciones por parte de los trabajadores y la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana (FANB), expuso el portal Banca y Negocios.
En la actividad participaron integrantes de la Fuerza de Choque del Comando Estratégico Operacional (Ceofanb), gerentes regionales y territoriales de la Corporación Eléctrica Nacional (Corpoelec).
Esta acción preventiva busca establecer criterios que garanticen la estabilidad y seguridad del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional (SEN) antes, durante y después de las venideras elecciones.
El Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE) ha establecido mesas de trabajo con diversas instituciones del Estado para garantizar el desarrollo del cronograma electoral, así como el evento del domingo próximo.
