Con un 2021 lleno de pausas y limitaciones por la pandemia, y la crisis que atraviesa Venezuela, el 2022 se vislumbra como un año de grandes retos económicos para la nación, desde reducir la inflación hasta impulsar el bolívar.
Reducir la inflación
Después de lograr una inflación inferior al 50 % durante 11 meses continuos, y a falta de sumar un mes más para considerar que Venezuela ha salido de la hiperinflación que arrastra desde 2017, el reto para 2022 es seguir reduciendo el porcentaje y, sobre todo, vigilar que no se dispare nuevamente y llegue a las cifras millonarias que ha dejado atrás, reseñó EFE.
Según el Banco Central de Venezuela, la inflación acumulada llegó al 631,1 % en diciembre, mientras que la interanual fue del 1.197,5 %. Con estos datos debe luchar el Gobierno de Maduro, quien ha reiterado que 2021 «es el primer año de crecimiento desde que empezó esta guerra económica», y que el 2022 será de «mayor recuperación».
Resucitar al Bolívar
Con una dolarización de facto que se instaló en el país para hacer contrapeso al inexistente valor del bolívar, Venezuela tiene la difícil tarea de impulsar su moneda nacional, un promesa que el Ejecutivo hizo en octubre, cuando entró en vigor la tercera reconversión monetaria en lo que va de siglo, por la que se quitaron seis ceros a la unidad monetaria, rebautizada como bolívar digital.
Para el Gobierno, el uso del dólar representa «una válvula de escape» transitoria, y pretende recuperar el valor del bolívar para convertirlo así en la moneda de referencia y dejar atrás el uso, cada vez más frecuente, de divisas.
Por una Venezuela turística
Una «economía diversificada» que tenga como «foco principal la industria del turismo» es la meta que el Ejecutivo venezolano se ha propuesto para 2022, y para lograrlo se encuentra en pleno desarrollo de proyectos para atraer la inversión y reactivar el sector turístico.
El propio Maduro aseguró que el turismo debe ser el motor que sustituya el poder que un día tuvo la industria petrolera, un reto complejo para cuyo logro deberá vencer la aguda crisis económica y de servicios públicos para que la nación caribeña se convierta en «potencia turística».
