Este viernes 10 de diciembre se realizó en Maracaibo una reunión del Estado Mayor de Salud del Zulia, con la presencia de la Dra. Odilia María Gómez Méndez, Viceministra de Redes de Atención Ambulatoria de Salud del Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Salud, enviada por el ciudadano Ministro Dr. Carlos Alvarado, siguiendo instrucciones del Presidente Nicolás Maduro.
La Autoridad Única en Salud del Zulia y Coordinadora Regional de la Misión Barrio Adentro, Dra. Omaira Prieto Fernández, informó que durante la reunión se abordaron aspectos como la intensificación de la atención primaria en salud y las acciones de vacunación contra la COVID-19 y Fiebre Amarilla.
Destacó además la Dra. Omaira Prieto que por instrucciones del Ministro del Poder Popular para la Salud, doctor Carlos Alvarado, se establecerán estrategias para fortalecer el Programa Ampliado de Vacunación en todas 64 Áreas de Salud Integral Comunitarias (ASIC).
Está reunión estratégica contó con la presencia de la Gerente de Salud PDVSA Occidente, doctora Mayreth Acosta, la directora del Hospital Dr. Manuel Noriega Trigo del IVSS, Elizabeth Borjas, el director del Hospital Militar, coronel Carlos García, la rectora de la Universidad de la Ciencias de la Salud, doctora Noly Fernández, la coordinadora de los Comités de Salud, Jaqueline Michell, el director Médico del IPASME, doctor Francisco Salas y miembros de la Misión Médica Cubana.
