A Frank José Ramallo Torres (30), encargado de una finca, lo detuvo la Policía científica tras confesar que mató de un tiro y ocultó el cuerpo de Nelson Piña, un obrero de la hacienda, con quien su mujer le era infiel.
Piña desapareció el pesado 16 de abril en Turén, estado Portuguesa. Sus familiares no sabían nada de su paradero por lo que en primera instancia acudieron a Ramallo, quien, además de negar la entrada la propiedad, dijo no tener información sobre su paradero.
Los parientes de la víctima acudieron al cuerpo detectivesco que inició las investigaciones. Luego de interrogar a los compañeros de Piña y lograron establecer lo sucedido. Los funcionarios interpelaron el pasado martes 27 de abril a Ramallo, quien confesó el crimen y precisó que le disparó con una escopeta, según reseña El Pitazo.
Los efectivos de Acarigua ubicaron el cuerpo y lo desenterraron. Ya estaba en avanzado estado de descomposición. También colectaron en la finca el arma de fuego homicida y las herramientas utilizadas por Ramallo para enterrar el cadáver de Piña.
El detenido está a la orden del Ministerio Público (MP) y en las próximas horas será presentado ante los tribunales competentes.
