En Perijá tener agua deja de ser un dolor de cabeza

Agua, agua, mucha agua no de lluvia sino del trabajo de reactivar muchos pozos inactivos desde hace tiempo, ya comienzan a disfrutar las familias en barriadas, zonas residenciales y sectores populares del municipio Rosario de Perijá donde la trilogía del esfuerzo compartido entre Alcaldía, Hidrolago y la ciudadanía ha hecho realidad comenzar a superar los problemas de escasez del líquido de la vida por ser un importante servicio público que estaba convertido en el dolor de cabeza de los rosarenses.

El alcalde, Ely Ramón Atencio, reveló que hoy 18 son los pozos activados que suministran agua limpia, pura y cristalina. De esos pozos vueltos a la vida a partir del 7 de diciembre de 2021, cuando iniciaron los trabajos de uno en uno, 13 de ellos están ubicados en pleno servicio en la parroquia Rosario y cinco en la parroquia Sixto Zambrano.

Beneficiados

Son, entre otros, La Colina, Prados de La Villa, La Cueva, Noriega Trigo Uno, Arimpia, Maicaito, Delicias, Zona Alta y Baja, Las Palmeras, Juan Gil, El Carmen, Juan Gil-La Pista y en la parroquia Sixto Zambrano tenemos a los sectores Guadalajara, San Ignacio-Zona Indígena, Saltanejo, Villa Vieja, Zona Alta y Villa Vieja-La Pista.

“Son más de 25 mil familias las que tienen agua donde hemos aplicado la cogestión entre la Alcaldía, Hidrolago y la comunidad a través de aportes de nuestra parte por más de 18 mil dólares, 2 mil 650 por parte de Hidrolago y 6 mil 840 aportados por la comunidad en una alianza de cogestión. Esto es el resultado que la Alcaldía ha cubierto el 65 por ciento de la participación, 25 por ciento la comunidad y un 10 por ciento el ente rector encargado de dar las respuestas necesarias en función de resolver este problema social dentro de un promedio de 80 días de trabajo desde que iniciamos nuestra gestión”, señaló.

“Debo decir que en la parroquia Rosario estamos trabajando para incorporar el pozo 36 para aumentar el caudal en un 20 por ciento, incluyéndolo a la red de tal manera que nos permita un mayor volumen para que haya agua en otros sectores que distribuye la línea de producción de la tubería de 24 pulgas que beneficie a los sectores Cañada Larga, El Recreo, Santa Teresa, Casco Central, Aurora, Las Casitas, Trujillo y otras zonas adyacentes a este sistema de distribución”, agrego el alcalde.

El jefe del gobierno municipal agregó que “tiene una proyección estratégica a corto, mediano y largo plazo para lograr recuperar la distribución del agua potable en su totalidad, Dios lo permita, en este primer año de nuestra gestión. Son cuatro líneas de acción, el primero, en el que ya estamos trabajando, que consiste en la limpieza de más de quince pozos que forman parte del sistema de distribución de los cuales ya hemos mencionado los pozos que forman parte de la línea de producción de la tubería de 24 pulgadas y los pozos de la tubería de 12 pulgadas, más otros pozos de distintos sectores».

También por ser competencia formal de nuestra gestión, los acueductos rurales que están en las parroquias Donaldo García y Sixto Zambrano, están igualmente incluidos. Hay un promedio de otros 15 pozos que les será aplicada una limpieza al ciento por ciento que va a permitir el aumento de 20 por ciento.

“Vamos además a tener la oportunidad de evaluar las condiciones físicas y mecánicas de estos pozos para hacer de nuevo el diseño de tener el equipo adecuado que nos del volumen de litros por segundo que permita la mejor distribución del agua potable. Otro proyecto es la solicitud de construcción de dos pozos para la batería de pozos de la línea de producción de la tubería que está en la Troncal-6, frente al cuartel, que permita reactivar el sistema de rebombeo en el sector Cañada Larga y el tanque de compensación de 800 mil litros”, subrayó el burgomaestre.
