El centro de huracanes emitió advertencias para Puerto Rico, las Islas Vírgenes de Estados Unidos y República Dominicana en la costa sur desde Punta Palenque hacia el este y en la costa norte desde Cabo Francés Viejo hacia el este. Había un aviso para Martinica, Guadalupe, Saba y San Eustaquio, y la costa norte de La Española, desde Cabo Francés en República Dominicana hasta Gonaives, Haití.
Las Islas Turcas y Caicos y el sureste de Bahamas también están bajo vigilancia de tormenta tropical, incluidas las islas Acklins, Crooked, Long Cay, Inaguas, Mayaguana y Ragged.
